To reduce the impact of CO2 emissions from our vehicles, we have been investing in CNG vehicles that emit 5-10% less CO2 than vehicles that run on petrol. NOx and soot emissions is also significantly lower in CNG vehicles when compared to diesel vehicles.
Therefore, SAT vehicles not only reduce pollution but consume less non-renewable energy.
We also periodically service our vehicles. This helps with improved performance and reducing the accumulation of debris and dust in our vehicles that can often lead to increased polluting emissions.
We also train our drivers on the best practices in driving such as not keeping the engine idling unnecessarily, driving smoothly and avoiding rash driving that can lead to higher consumption of fuel.
SAT’s fleet of vehicles include electric vehicles that further contribute towards conservation. We have our own charging stations commissioned by TATA and other vendors.
